Hanft McDevitt Scholarship Fund for COA Graduates

(2021) The Hanft McDevitt Family Scholarship Fund was recently established by Roland McDevitt and Barbara Hanft for Dare County students graduating with an associate degree from College of The Albemarle with a desire to continue their higher education and a goal of obtaining a bachelor's degree from a college or university. The donors recognize that a four-year degree is foundational for success in many professions. Scholarships will be awarded from this fund for further schooling in a variety of fields, including education, political science, and rehabilitation, as well as the literary, performing and visual arts.

The fund is endowed, so it will be awarding scholarship for many generations to come. You can make a donation to this fund here, and by searching in the "Other Funds" dropdown menu.
